Primary 5 and 6 have been thoroughly enjoying their World Around Us topic on Ancient Egypt. The children have been learning all about what life was like in Ancient Egypt, from the importance of the River Nile to the daily routines of Egyptian families. They've created stunning Egyptian sunset artwork by blending warm shades of yellow and orange paint to form a glowing desert sky. They then used stencils to carefully add pyramids, palm trees, and camels, colouring these silhouettes in black to complete the dramatic effect. The finished pieces are absolutely fabulous and really bring the magic of Ancient Egypt to life!
