A Busy Week for P7!

6th Feb 2026

What a full and exciting week it has been for our P7 class!

Some of our pupils worked on an environmental speech titled “Reuse and Repair.” Well done to all the children who presented their speeches with such confidence and preparation. Their hard work truly shone through.

We were also pleased to welcome a PSNI Community Officer, who spoke to the P5–P7 classes about the importance of staying safe online in today’s ever‑changing digital world. The children gained valuable insights and practical advice during this visit.

In sport, a group of P7 boys represented our school in the Cumann na mBunscol 5‑a‑side Gaelic football competition. They won some matches and lost some, but demonstrated impressive skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout.

For art this week, the children created beautiful alternative designs featuring St Brigid’s Cross at the centre. Each pupil put in tremendous effort, and the results were truly special.

Congratulations to all our P7 winners in the Valentine’s competition and to everyone who took part in the various activities—what a fantastic week of learning and achievement!
