This week we are celebrating Healthy Eating Week and we got off to a fantastic start yesterday! To launch the week, the children enjoyed a wonderful cheese board featuring a variety of different cheeses along with a selection of meats including ham, pepperoni, chorizo, salami and even chorizo wrapped in cheese. There was also homemade wheaten bread, crackers and a colourful range of fresh fruits and vegetables such as apples, oranges, grapes, tomatoes, carrots and celery sticks. The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience, especially the opportunity to try new and unfamiliar foods, and it was lovely to see so many of them discovering new favourites while learning about healthy choices.
