The P6/7 children left Killyhommon PS at 9.30am on Monday for a two night stay at Gortatole Outdoor Education Centre. You would nearly think by the size of the bags that they were heading away for a week! On their arrival they were met John one of the instructors. Following some games they made their way to their rooms. The children had to put on their own duvet cover and fitted sheets on the bed. Well that was a sight to behold!! We'll not say how long it took some of the children to complete this task. After a delicious lunch the group headed to the water, Lower Lough McNean, for an afternoon of Kayaking. Back to dry land and dinner provided the children got some free time and the day finished off with a camp fire and some team games.
