This week for our outdoor learning session, P3/4 created their own ephemeral art pieces. Ephemeral art is temporary art that is made from natural materials. The children used their imaginations and worked together with their partner to create some art using what they could find in ‘Sadie’s Garden’. The focus was on building and exploring materials like mud, leaves, or stones rather than worrying about the finished product. They really enjoyed the freedom of choosing what they could create and I think they turned out brilliantly.
