P1/2 thoroughly enjoyed celebrating World Book Day 2026! First, we read 'The Tiger Who Came for Tea' and had our very own tea party where the children helped make their own sandwiches and prepare scones. Mrs Rasdale got the fright of her life when she walked into 12 very scary (but super cute) tigers all having a tea party! We then read 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' as we are watching our own real life caterpillars grow in the classroom. The children made their own caterpillars and watered them to 'grow' followed by a fun measuring activity.
