We were delighted to welcome Baby Annie and her mum Sarah into school as part of our Roots of Empathy programme. This was Annie's first of nine visits and the theme was 'Meeting the Baby'. Through observing Annie, our “Mini Teacher,” the children learned about temperament traits, identifying hers and then reflecting on their own; helping to understand themselves and others.
The children especially enjoyed measuring Annie and testing the predictions they made last week about what Annie could do. Annie was such a good baby and we’re already looking forward to seeing her again next month.
