The Primary 3 & 4 children enjoyed lots of literacy based activities today for World Book Day. They started of this morning by telling each other what their favourite book is and what it is about. They then wrote about their favourite book and drew their favourite page in the book. After break we read ‘Ten Word Tiny Tales of Love’ by Joseph Coelho and friends. The children really enjoyed this book and loved the illustrations to go along with each of the ten word stories. The Primary 3 & 4 children then had to create their own ‘Ten word story’, they came up fantastic stories and created amazing pictures to go with their story. To end the day the children enjoyed Drama with Abbie where they danced and sang to different songs and even got to read their favourite book for the last 10 minutes of the day.
